From my experience many of them would. I have literally been proposed to by illegal hispanic men that I've just met. They have made promises that I would never have to work and that I could bring my kids. They even said that they loved me. One guy tried to arrange to marry me through my mother. He wanted me to leave my husband for him and I'd never even met him. No offers of money were made and no mention of papers either. But get real. I'm a decent looking woman but not so much that all these men would fall in love with me at first sight. This has happened to most of the women I know here too. I have no idea why illegals think this should be acceptable behavior. It does seem to support my belief that they come here to get rich by any means, and not to feed their starving families. I have noticed, though, that in these marriages that these men will let their American families do without so that they can keep their mothers in the lap of luxury. You should see all the fine clothes, appliances, etc., that some pack up and send to their home countries. They will even take out loans to do this.

I do not know what's the percentage of illegal aliens would marry an American citizen regardless of their ethnic group. The numbers are high, and that's why it's so complicated for real marriages, like mine, to solve their immigrations status.
Most of the times the American citizen will charge thousands of dollars to an illegal alien for this fraud. However, there are still cases of illegal aliens faking love to marry citizens.

This is like another question that made the white American out to be the victim. Most of the time the citizen knows the purpose of the marriage, that it's for immigration purposes.

So many will do that...Mexicans always doing business with citizens to be able to be able to eventually be a citizens And yes they are entile to a green card when they get marry to an american citizen....

Just because you marry someone does not entitle you to a green card. It has not been that way for a long time.
