I'm not an atheist, but I do work one night a week at a movie theater. I can tell you that we had no protesters, other than the people who protested the fact that the film had subtitles, at our theater.

why would they protest, if you don't believe in something than ignore it. you don't have to believe in god, but you have to treat people who do with respect. (vice versa also) protesting a movie about something Christians value is rude. i wouldn't protest an atheist movie.

No. I believe in free speech. I thought when Christians protested things like "The Last Temptation of Christ". Just don't go see it. I don't go see lots of movies because I wouldn't like them. Going to see a movie is a choice thanks to America's law.

Unlike Christians, we don't create ridiculous uproars when we see people expressing beliefs contrary to our own. I'm agnostic but I'm sure it goes the same for atheists.
