I am a firm believer in love, It would be up to you to accept the fact that once he is out of prison it will be hard for him to get a good job and live with what ever he did to get in there in the first place. If my man was in prison, I would wait for him, depending on what he had done, cause certain things I know I couldn't live with or forgive.

So if your wanting an opinion, should you be with him, I say if you love him unconditionally, yes.

This is a time that you really have to listen to your heart and not your mind. I would be very cautious with this relationship. If he has two more years left, you should go about dating others and have a good time for the next two years. Someone else may be able to take his place, alot can happen in 2 years.

Run as far away from him as possible.
Do you really want to marry someone who isi n jail or have your children spend quality time with him between a plate of glass and a phone receiver? He's bad news.
Think this through very carefully.
Your in for a whole lotta hurt.

Once you found out he was married then you should've let things go. You allowed your heart to lead instead of your head. He ups and divorces somebody because of you contacting him. History has a way of repeating itself. What makes you think he won't do that to you?

yes you should deff dedicate all your time and energy to a man who obviously doesnt love you as much as you loved him because he got married and it wasnt to you and then ontop of that he just divorces her on the drop of a dime and he was in jail. go ahead and marry him just expect to be lonely when he lands himself back in jail and then even more lonly when he drops you like a bad habbit when the next pretty young thing wants him.

Hi. I think we need to know why he is in prison to guess about any chance for a long term relationship.

are you sure you want these opinions??? i know a lot of them are going to mirror mine. move on with your life. do not put your life on hold for a prisoner!!!!! a relationship is a lot of hard work, i don't think starting one out under these circumstances would benefit you in any way. please, if you really do want opinions, read, learn & apply them to this situation.

Unless he has proven he has changed his mindset from criminal to proper by his actions, not words, then why would you want to be with someone like that?? DO you like misery and conflict?? What happens if he hasn't changed and continues the criminal behavior?? Do you want to have children with an absentee father?? It's your decision--- good luck

Keep in touch, but still date other men. Wait til he gets out of jail, make sure he isn't an addict or a criminal, and then begin to date. (IF after 2 years we're still close).

if you love him that much then i suppose 2 years won't seem that long, however, if you don't love him that much and aren't willing to wait that long then don't wait. 2 years can be a really long time so don't waste your time waiting for him if you know that it isn't going to last that long. Think it through
Good luck
