Pork is considered unclean in the OLD testament, but Jesus says in the New Testament that 'nothing man puts into his body is unclean, only what comes out' meaning that the rules of unclean animals listed in Leviticus are, in effect, lifted and that we can eat what we want

Well, he didn't!
But here's a thought, if Pigs were unclean and forbidden to the Jews, how come a) The prodigal son managed to get a job working with them and b) There happened to be a herd walking by for Jesus to cast the demon out into?
I've always wondered that!

You make it sound like just because theyre not edible theyre not useful ^^ or play an important role in nature.
Most of the animals in the animal kingdom arent edible.
But heres the deal with pigs.
Pigs are unclean to eat because they dont have necks and consequently the blood in their body cannot be completely drained when theyre slaughtered. This poses a serious problem, mainly because they dont excrete all the urine in their blood.
This means that theyre unfit for consumption but just because we cant eat em doesnt mean they dont serve a purpose in the natural scheme of things. For one thing, animals like wolves and other carnivores can feast on them instead of your cows for example.

God knows (ha ha ha get it) anyway, you can say the same thing about the 'design flaw' in the universe - why do we have earthquakes, volcanic eruptions etc? Scientifically there are many plus sides to such phenomenas, so maybe it's the same with the Pig. Who knows

Christians dont live by the law since Jesus fullfilled it when he dide was buried and rose again. Jesus couldnt even convince paul to eat somthing that he held unclean all his life and called it unclean and Jesus told him not to make unclean what He has made clean.

Anybody who knows anything about pigs knows that they're not unclean. They roll around in mud because it acts as a natural sunscreen to stop their pink skin getting burnt!

god made such a perfect world, he must have made pigs for infidels to eat. He wouldn't want goats to get overused, because he loves the smell of burnt goat offering. So, in order to conserve goats, he probably created pigs.
Hot-Dog anyone?

Pork is not unclean and there is no god anyway. Animals come about through evolution.
