My fiance & I are getting married 2 weeks, leaving for Jamaica the day after. We applied for passports in early Januarary, 1 day apart (he was waiting on his birth certificate), & were told then it would be no problem to have them before March. I recieved mine around 2/19, at this time online his status said it would be here on or around 3/6.

Well now it's saying not to expect the passport until 3/26. Obviously, this is a problem because we are suppose to leave on 3/18.

We've tried the contact number with no luck. For two days now we've called an insane amount of time, the call center doesn't even let you wait on hold "due to high call volume" & we've sent an email through the website with no luck.

Has anyone else dealt with a simliar situation? Does anyone have any suggestions as to how we can contact someone?

I've never heard of a one day passport center...would this be the actual passport agency in DC & other locations?

If so I really doubt that's possible, we are about 9 hours away from the closest; we are in West Virginia.

You may have to roadtrip it to the nearest one-day passport center. They have them. My dad was sent to England by his work and had to get his passport this way.
