Revelation 5:11-12 says, "Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. In a loud voice they sang:
"Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and praise!"

If this passage refers to Jesus as the "Lamb who was slain", and if Jesus is God, then what need does He have of "power, wealth, wisdom and strength"? This seems to suggest that Jesus was motivated by and desires power, wealth, wisdom and strength. If not, why are these things mentioned?

Jesus is the only one worthy of it - he already has it. Satan has spent his time trying to steal it.

It is not a giving of anything, it is a recognition of where it is.

It seems just the angels said it, not Jesus. They said He was worthy of it, not that He wanted it. I think Jesus had wisdom and strength. We should honor Him. I hope He has the power to defeat evil. As far as wealth goes, maybe they didn't mean money-wise. The Bible often isn't literal. It can be very symbolic.

I don't think they are refering to Jesus, and Jesus is not God he is the Son of God...who is Jehovah.
