My boyfriend had a dream one night that he was shot by somebody and that he died. He was looking at his own body on the ground. It'a been almost 4 months since my boyfriend died. He got shot to death. I still remember when he told me about the drem and I don't know what to think about that. Can you dreamed your death???

There are many examples of dreams that seemed to predict future events. Some may have been due to coincidence, faulty memory, or an unconscious tying together of known information. A few laboratory studies have been conducted of predictive dreams, as well as clairvoyant and telepathic dreams, but the results were varied, as these kinds of dreams are difficult to study in a laboratory setting

Premonitions happen all the time, in addition to other thoughts and dreams that we have that do not. Chances are your boyfriend was nervous about something and the subconscious mind picked up on that and he dreamed about it. It has been speculated that dreaming is the mind's way of de-stressing. It is just like worrying about missing and exam at school, and the night before you dream that you slept through it. Sometimes dreams are just that which we are worried will happen in our lives. Sorry about hearing about the death of someone close.

I have had precognitive dreams - not as often now as when I was younger.

Dreams that predict one's own death are very rare. Death in a dream generally means big change is coming, some part of your life will die and you will take a new path.

I'm sorry about your boyfriend.

It may or may not be a coincidence. Most people, especially guys, have at least one or two dreams about being shot. I've had a number of them. I've had lots of dreams about dying, either by falling, or in my car, or in a fight, etc.

Just something to think about. Nonetheless, it is pretty amazing. In a horrible way, of course. I'm sorry about your boyfriend.

That's creepy. I had a few dreams my mom died the year before she died too. But to have such an exact premonition is weird. I'm so sorry for your loss though. I hope you are doing okay.

Well, it depends. Some people are able see in the future, whether good or bad.It would be a con-incidence if it happens once in a while, but it's special powers if it occurs often enough. There is nothing wrong with such individuals, just that they are blessed with such senses.

I am also so sorry for your loss. I do believe that we can have premonitions like this. I had a dream that my grandma was telling me something about my mom right before she got cancer. Mom is fine now Peace and love and God Bless.

Yes, taht's possible. I know some people whose dreams came true. Sometimes a dream is like a warning sign that you shouldn't ignore.

I'm sorry for your lose. Was being involved with violence a part of his daily life or something totally unexpected? My guess is that violence and guns were something that worried him enough to dream about it.
