I'm having trouble locating information about skin bumps that resemble a coin under the skin. Seriously, it's round and flat, but a bump, like a dime is under the skin. He's been itching it, and it seems painful. He had a fever last night of 100.7F, and has been extra emotional. The skin tone around the actual bump is flesh tone, but the bump itself is red/pink. And then the part protruding up from the flesh-tone skin is whiter than normal (this is 3 dimensional, like a cylinder, with the sides being whiter). There are actually 2 of these bumps making this configuration look like the figure 8. I'm running google searches...need help finding info. Suggestions? Would you take him to the doc??

The word lesion fits well...but it's not pussy or anything.

Hmm...starred out word was supposed to be the word Pus with sy at the end, meaning full of pus...not the derogatory female body part word.

I'm thinking personally that it's ringworm. I'm not there to see it so it's hard to know and judge, but if they're small enough, they wouldn't have the pale center. I went ahead and suggested he go in. The fever could've been coincidental, as the stomach bug is going around.

UPDATE: Apparently the bumps are spreading, rapidly and now on his other feet there are some bumps. She took him to the doctor. Waiting to hear what's going on.
