Ok Here is the deal. I do not have any health care. My household is currently spending over $1,000 per month on medication. We simply cannot afford it. It’s coming to the point of choosing between Meds and food!

I tried obtaining free medication through the "patient assistance" programs directly from the Pharmaceutical companies and, arrrrggg! It is so complicated! I have been waiting over 8 weeks and I still have not hear back from one of the RX companies, and I had to submit to 8 of them.

I have been told that there is a company out there that will process all of the information for you to streamline the process. I cant find anything on the web other then companies that just give you contact numbers to the Pharmaceutical companies.

Can anyone out there please help us??

I'm a nurse and your doctors office is suppose to help you with this process. Also ask the doctor for something equivalent OTC or that is cheaper, the pharmacist can assist as well. Don't get discourage it is worth it in the end, don't give up. I am so sorry you are getting the run around. If you contact the companies, ask for assistance. I would also ask if the doctor's office have samples, they should or know how to get free medication. You are on the right track, keep going. All the best, take care.

We used this company out of Texas about a year ago. They're called Medwise. It save us a ton of money. It only costs $15 per medication. And they did all of the paperwork for us. I don't remember the web-site address but the number is
(800) 730-0614.

I feel your pain. We were going through the same thing as you. Hang in there! I hope this helps .

I was able to get help for my insulin through a company called Prescription Assistance 123. (rxassistance123.com) The name of the patient advocate that assisted me was Mark. I am on insulin (lantus and Humalog) He signed me up for the patient assistance program through the manufacture and it was a really simple process. I receive my medication every three months. I would recommend him and this company to anyone. His number is (888) 507-9123 or his direct number is (561) 288-9044. Thanks Mark and good luck to everyone

It is a reliable pharmacy; I have used it for a long time. No shipping charges.
