First, I'm not sure I wanted to know....

Second, it's not in the spell checker... did I spell it right?

Lastly, I have a feeling this debate will go on forever with the shroud of Turin... what do you think?

I think there are possibilities that scholars are not taking advantage of. There is DNA in those boxes which can prove that James WAS in the tomb with Jesus. Just as the shroud of Turin they need to be able to do testing and I think that there are some very important people and institutions who are standing in the way from this happening. There can be an ending, but they need to be able to do the testing and study the remains...from the look at the documentary last night, that most likely wont be the case, which is sad because it is a discovery of a lifetime.

If you love Jesus so much then you will search for the truth and not the web that the Church has woven for people. The truth is in ALL the books, not just a selected few which the Church is Ok with. Maybe the truth of Jesus is in WHAT he preached and not the good/evil of the resurrection? Maybe it is in the fact that he wanted LOVE to prevail and not hate and fear like the three main religions preach?

1) No. People here can't spell "correctly" correctly. Ossuaries is going to be misspelled in a variety of amusing ways.

2) Yes. At least according to Wikipedia.

3) No. It's the opposite of the shroud. There christians want to believe and they reject scientific evidence to the contrary. Here we have preliminary scientific evidence which skeptics believe but, being skeptical, if new scientific evidence comes along to the contrary, we will dismiss it has a mistaken belief.

1. It sounds like a fixture in a men's rest room. ("Pardon me. I need to go use the ossuary.")

2. You have spelled it correctly, according to Dictionary.com

3. The shroud has been proven to be a fraud. And likely this will be, too.

Spelling - good question, and betes me
I am glad that question can be asked, and there aren't riots and killings. The debate will continue after I'm gone - unless of course, I am here for the rapture.
