Go to China Town in any major city if you want a Buddha statue. I have seen quite a few. I think that a buddha statue would be more to accomodate asian gamblers. I would never associate Jesus with Gambling, and of course it would be real cheesy if it were.

I agree.
The only reason I could think of is that the casino is a privately owned business and not a publicly owned property, so the casino is allowed to offer whatever statue they desire.
