What do you use to make them,
And how much would I mix of everything??!
I've heard they are a great drink...
I'm planning to hit the beaches soon...
And was wondering how to make them...
Considering I like all different types of mixed drinks...
So any idea's ? :)

I buy the pina colada mix and blend some up with ice and more Bacardi rum.

You can make pina colada mix, but it's a lot easier just to buy it & add the rum. Maybe add a little ice cream with the ice to keep the colada thick & not watery. The best coladas are chilled to frozen & don't use any ice at all, but they take a lot of time to make.
If you're looking for a good base, I don't know if you can buy it in most stores....try Coco Lopez, it's a really thick coconut base....also good for breading things like shrimp.
Also, add some mango puree, it'll enhance the flavor a LOT! It'll taste like liquid candy.
You could also top the colada off with some Alize, the stuff in the red bottle....very nice!

One of my favorite drinks. ;o)
I prefer mine frozen. I use 12 oz. Cruzan Coconut rum, 1 16oz. can of Cream of Coconut, 12 oz. can of crushed pineapple (including the juice), 6 cups. of ice. Mix well in the blender. This makes a pitcher full. You get about 6-8 servings. You can put a pineapple or cherry on top of each drink.

you can buy Pina Colada mix and just add the rum and crushed ice..the mix tells you how much of each to add.

you may use lime, coconut, pineapple juice and rum, you have to mix it (put as much rum as you want in order to make it strong )
you will have to mix all with some ice and put some fruits on the top of it after that.

you buy pineapple juice, cherries, whipped cream coconut milk and some tequila.
First you get a blender add in the pineapple juice, coconut milk and tequila (add to you preference). Blend. Grab a cup pour in the mixture put whipped topping and add a cherry on top. And enjoy
