Just wondering if maybe there could be a reason other than being inconsiderate.

i don't know many people that carry around air freshener in their purse or wallet. maybe there's no spray in the bathroom. maybe leave a box of matches in there.

My guess is that they don't really notice the stink because sometimes, even by myself at home, I don't notice while I'm taking care of No. 2 business but if I leave and then return to the lavatory shortly after it's like "Wow, I did THAT?!?" It's almost like a "temporary" immunity to the stench or else the foul vapors are hanging in the bowl or low to the floor but, upon leaving, these nasty particles rise and circulate which is possibly why sparing doesn't always effectively mask the stink.
I've been in some lavatories where signs have been posted asking to leave the exhaust fan running. Ideally your "facility" has a fan because they are better than simple masking deodorants.

Put a sign up in the bathroom reminding them to spray.
that really must be bad.
I know there is an older lady at my job who has some problem with gas or something but shes always stinking up the place. once on breakwhile we were trying to eat she did it.I really almost started gagging.

I don't know either but maybe as a precaution, spray the bathroom when you get in there. this will make your time in there less bothersome.

They will not use the spray because they are rude. Determine when they normally do this and before they do it, place saran wrap under the toilet seat, covering the bowl or remove all the toilet tissue.

Ugh! There's at least one of those in every office! Think they're just inconsiderate. It's horrible. Maybe they shouldn't eat things that upset their stomach, or learn to save it for home. I mean, if you're sick, you're sick, but to do it every day!?

I can't think of any other reason than being inconsiderate unless this person is so conceited he or she thinks their poop does not stink.

leave a big annoymous note in the bathroom...maybe they are just not aware they are not at home.
Maybe say:
Save the day...Please Spray! lol

put a post it note on the can of air freshener telling people to not be stingy and spray,spray , odor away!!!

YES, I AGREE THEY SHOULD USE SOME KIND OF SPRAY TO MAKE THE BATHROOM SMELL BETTER AFTER USING IT ,.ESPECIALLY, AFTER A NUMBER 2 OR AFTER A WOMAN USES IT AND SHE IS ON HER PERIOD!
