If you mean stuff, not staff, then that is quite common. We all forget things at times especially when we are stressed. Anxiety is a cause for forgetting things, and depression, but you may just have a heavy load on you at the moment. If you are really worried about it then see your doctor.

Your short term memory can only hold 7 items, if your mind is occupied with a lot of things (like worrying) it will affect your memory.
I have an illness that messes up my short term memory & have to write things in my notebook (which is always handy) so I remember the small stuff.
