It might look good but if you're wearing two rings, you should always wear the same carat otherwise, you're right, it will wear the gold away - it's quite a soft material.

The colouring will be fine together as it takes a kean eye to spot the difference between white gold an titanium. But dont forget that white gold tarnishes anyway and you have to have it re-coated at least every year so I think the titanium will effect this.

Forget about scratching or different colors.... If I were you I would seriously consider taking the titanium ring back! The problem is lets say hypothetically you got into a car accident or something and the ring was crushed onto your finger. Easy, cut it off right.... Wrong. You can't cut it. If that ring ever had to be forcibly removed from your finger they would have to cut your finger off. No freaking joke. Titanium is one metal that can not be cut with conventional tools. Most often it is done with a blow torch or something and they would never take a blow torch to you hand. In the end, can you say high five... Oh, I mean four.

Well said,Laura. Gotta be crazy to wear titanium. Looks great, cool, brill.but it's a death-trap for fingers.Look up the Blackbird spy-plane and what it could do..Made of titanium.cos nothing else would stand that kind of treatment. If a missile was fired at it, it simply outran the missile.Trade the ring for a matching gold one.

If you like how it looks then yes it is fine! At the end of the day everybody's taste in jewellery is different so it is really up to you. I don't think there would be an issue with scratching though you can get some wear and tear. Ask a jeweller if you are concerned :)

Haven't you seen the rings & watches with the mixed metals? It looks soooo cool.
I mix the metals from time to time, just cause I get fickle.
As far as the scratching, I wouldn't tink so, but you might want to check with a jeweler on that.
