Can anyone tell me where I might be able to find a wildland fire class, which offers full certification. I have passed s-190, etc. etc. I just need to take the pack test so I can obtain my redcard. Any help is appreciated.

Go to www.mufrti.org and click on the 2007 wild fire academy logo on the bottom. I think the test is on 2 & 3 June. In Ill, contact the state conservation dept or your local FFS, they may know. Where did you take your training? they should have gave you leads and how the game works if you want to go out west this summer and full.

Ok, first of all the "Red Card" is no longer. When you complete your test you will be entered into a data bank. It should be good for 5 years. Most Wildland Fire Services are in California and Orgeon, and Texas. You can also contact RJB Fire Consulting in Ilinois@ RJBFireconsulting@yahoo.com
Contact Diamond Fire in Oregon and they can give you more details. Where about in Illinois?
