last year we had an exchange student from germany live with us, her name was Maria.
She was extremely smart, a talented writer, a tri or quad lingual. (like bilingual only she spoke three or four languages)
and AMAZING artist, she could sing very well, and she was a good actress.......she would always bring us sweets from germany, she wasnt althetic really....
and when she left, she secretly put post it notes ALL over the house, so that we would remember her..
so based on this, and i know not everyone is alike....she is probably some sort of romantic. if she is giving you the signs, like eye contact, coming up to alot, seeming excited to see you, etc, then go for it. find out what her faverite flower is, or something that could remind her of germany, so she will be impressed that you did some "research"...and pull her aside one day when its just you and her, be a sweetheart and im almost positive she'll say yes.
the only way she would say no, is that if you two have never met, if you are unsensitive to her, and if you are dirty (both meanings) make it easy on her, she is probably struggling as it is
good luck, auf veidersen auidu?? haha i have no idea if that austrian or what or how to spell it.

The best way to tell anyone you like them is by your actions. First, learn some things about her country. Then, find a time when you can share with her what you've learned. Then, ask her to share some things about her country. I find that when you are interested in learning something about someone, they are pleased with this kind of attention. Just think about how happy you are to share what you know with someone who asks. The old adage that you treat people how you want to be treated is true, no matter what country they come from. Caring is always shown by your actions, not always words. Your actions tell more about you than words ever can. By showing your interest in her, you'll find that she wants to spend more time with you. Let nature take its course. Relax and be yourself. If she doesn't like you for yourself, move on. Don't play games with her emotions. By showing interest in the things that interest her, she'll see that you like her and you won't have to come up with some lame line (which gets lost in the translation sometimes). Find out what she likes, read about it, then find the right time to tell her about what you've read. Remember, foreign exchange students are very intelligent kids. They come here to get the kind of education that isn't available to them where they come from. They also like to have fun, like any other kid. Hope this helps you. <*)))><

Walk up to her, and ask her how she's been enjoying school and the new setting. Wait for her answer, then follow up with, "Do you like pizza/movies/etc? Me too, well I'd like to take you out sometime. MAybe to see the latest ____ movie. What do you think? Well that's the bell for 4th period. Ciao!" Make sure you're wearing some raybans and carrying a leather jacket around your shoulders.

You can do it! Just ask her if she would like to have dinner sometime, go to a movie, etc etc. That is how all my boyfriends did it! What is she going to do, tell you no? If she does then she is a ***** and you could do better anyway! Don't worry, you will be fine, just simply ask her to hang out, it's not a big deal. Just relax and everything will work out!

Wow, man! I was at the bar yesterday from 4Pm-3am this morning, and I got the hots for a certain girl, bartender ofcourse :) She leaves, and well all the fellas looked at me dead in the eye, and told me THIS! Stop playing games, stop hiding how you feel, BE VULNERABLE, simply go up to her-wearing your heart in the open, and say this is me and this how I am, and I like/love you.
I'm still scared as hell to say this, but maybe you can give it shot, remember NOTHING TO LOSE!
