It's hard to pick but the best usually rise to the top. Look for Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Matt Kenseth, Kevin Harvick, Tony Stewart, Greg Biffle, and Kasey Kahne to be in the Chase. My pick would be Jimmie Johnson again. Mark Martin is only running 22 races as of now, so he can't win. Dale Earnhardt, Jr. is 41st in the points and he has a lot of people to pass to get into the Chase. If DEI can't get their engines up to par with everyone else, Dale, Jr. won't even be close to the Top 12.

You're right! It's way to early to try and pick a Cup Champ. If I was forced on the spot to pick right now though, I'd have to say it'd be a RCR car. That team is on a roll! Harvick, and Burton will have a great chance again this year to win it! Look for Clint Bowyer to run strong too and probably make it into the CHASE by virtue of that 11th/12th spot that they added this season.
And Zack... Your pick will not win the championship. I think you would know this but Dale Earnhardt was killed in a crash on the final lap of the Daytona 500 in 2001. That was one f***ed up day... So, Pick again bud. And if you meant Dale Earnhardt Jr, then next time put Dale Earnhardt Jr. because there's a HUGE DIFFERENCE in the two.

gordon stuart and harvick all championship proven teams, martin is just starting out with Ginn who does alot of money to invest, but mark is still unclear if he will run the entire season.

MATT KENSETH, this guy is one of the only drivers who has made the chase every year, nobody ever gives him any credit he might be one of most well rounded drivers behind Tony Stewart. He arguably dominated last year 4 wins and who cant forget Bristol (bump n run by Busch) Chicago (spun out by Gordon) and Dover (ran out of gas while leading). Last year he had the most top 5 and still never gets any credit just because he keeps his mouth shut and does what he does best RACE

Matt Kenseth 100% going all the way. Face it if he didnt get wrecked by Kyle Busch at daytona he would be close to being champion. yeah he got docked 50 points but he is able to do what jimmy did last year and thats win without his crew cheif. I think Kenseth is going to win the chase.

I think Dale Jr will win the Nextel Cup Championship because if you just give him time he will pick up the pace a little bit.
