If there is a university with a medical school where you live, contact the school of dentistry there. They will have a clinic where students learn and the instructors keep their hand in and also learn new procedures. The dentistry is good and less expensive.

You should see if there is a dental college in your area. The work is usually done by students that are just one or two procedures away from graduating, so you can rest assured that the person doing your dental work is knowledgable. A lady I work with gets ALL of her work done at a local dental college and pays very low prices for great quality work. Not only are you saving money, but you are helping someone graduate and reach a goal. Good luck!

A root canal and a crown can cost $1000 together. I lost 3 teeth when I had no money and no insurance because extractions were 10 times cheaper than a root canal and a crown. I should have put the bills on my credit card, but I chose extractions and regret it. Fillings are relatively cheap too, so it's best to have a tooth filled than to suffer later.

My daughter is in the same position and between a county health care agency, a dental college, and Western dental, she chose Western dental. It still costs but they make arrangements if you pay alittle something each visit. I personally would chose the dental college to help further the students education and I'm sure it's more economical than the Western dental. Good Luck to you!

How about going to a dental school and having a student work on you? They are supervised...and I'm sure it will cost less than going to a regular dentist.

Dentists are not lawyers or in the medical money field.
Let them know your financial situation and a good one will set up pricing and a payment plan that you pay to him for services rendered.
You need your teeth....
Cross Country has the best idea....A dental school needs real bodies and you are in no way going to suffer long term effects, they are in their final years getting practice and are extra careful as they fail on you they fail period...

Root Canal costs about $400, and everything costs less.
Save up and get emergency pain relief to tide you over, from about 22 different clinics as you get exept from each one by one.
Next time you will be able to have some money stored away as medical cost reserves.
