Swelling? Gums?

i just got my braces off and was wondering how long it takes for the swelling of my gums to go down?????? anyone know?

IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE PERSON. IT TOOK ME BETWEEN 3 days to maybe a week for the swelling to go down

ok i work in a dental office and for sure bleeding of the gums is never a good sign, it could be that all that time u had ur braces on u probly werent flossing correctly thus causing tartor to build up inside ur gums, the sysmtoms of this is swelling, bleeding, puffy gums the soultion a "deep cleaning" dental terms- root planing-
