If we work with the tenuous presumption that god exists and it has a master plan for the universe, then it wouldn't answer prayers or be influenced by its followers because it couldn't change its cosmic plan.

Tuberoot, you do of path understand that god has in no way suggested something, what you're bearing on is something that a guy claims god has suggested, so in actuality you're happening the interest of an straightforward guy, in my view i don't like it while a individual that has no faith takes the time to criticise those that do, if those human beings elect to have faith what they suspect then it has not something to do with all of us else, the only time that I remark at it particularly is while a non secular individual criticises Atheists for not sharing their faith because of the fact I, as an Atheist sense that i'm good once I say that there in no way has been a god of any style and if there has, the place is there even one tiny little piece of knowledge, blind faith isn't data.

God doesn't have opinions. Just absolute truth. Does a request from a child influence a parent's actions? Sure it does. If the child says "can I have some ice cream?", he may get some ice cream. Or he may not, if that would not be in his best interest at that moment. But if he didn't ask, he probably would not receive it. This is why God has chosen to present Himself to us using the image of parent/children.

God has no opinion.
Opinion:
"a belief or judgment that rests on grounds insufficient to produce complete certainty."
How could God have anything but complete certainty?
God DOES answers prayers, but the answer is usually "no."

it does not change God, it changes you and your heart. Prayer is a way to be in communion with God.
