I believe that we are here to prove our worth. God has already experienced fellowship with one that turned against him (Lucifer). Now he has created us so that we can fellowship with him. But, before we can, we must show him that we trust him when we can't see him. Also, he allows us to show that we are trustworthy with the things he gives us, as well as showing we place him above those things we desire to have. This proves our faith.

Most don't believe because they can't get beyond their own limited understanding. They fail to believe that they have purpose. To accept the fact that one will live and die (period) leaves no space for growth and knowledge, as well as purpose. That means the individual has lowered their self to 'below' the level of a leaf. To only believe in what you see allows you to be easily fooled by the illusions of the deceiver.

Belief in God is more than what you can't see. It's belief that you will become something more... greater.

Ur thoughts?

I believe in the seen and unseen. I believe that we are something greater, and we have just forgotten--that it's our task to remember.

Our purpose here is to be ambassadors for HIM...to WORK our way into God's trust is impossible. Isaiah 53:6, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, BUT GOD 1Peter 3:18, Romans 5:8, John 3:18

We are here because after accepting HIS GRACE (not working for it) Eph 2:8-9, we are to tell others about being reconciled to Him. 2Cor. 5:17-21

There is no evidence that there is a god. No evidence essentially means that someone made it up. It isn't rational or reasonable to believe in things without any evidence to back it up. You would be stuck with thousands of gods and everything else that human imagination could come up with since they all have the same evidence.

Not believing in god is the same as not believing in Odin, Zeus, Ra, Hera, Bacchus, The Great Spirit, Osiris, The Flying Spaghetti Monster and all the others. I would be no less surprised of evidence of Odin was found than I would be if evidence of your god was.

It's not that I cannot see him. It's that He has been harsh with humanity. How can one continue being faithful when the world sucks.

Religious belief is like birthday gifts: You expect more than you actually get.

I'm an EX-Christian, I've been there and done that.I don't worship your God for moral reasons. I could care less whether or not he exists.
