i use honey in tea, but does it kill the goodness off cause its hot liquid

No, the honey is actually better for you because it is a natural sweetener, and it is the only thing that doesn't spoil, go bad.

Honey is a natural sugar so it is great in tea. Honey is not a fruit or vegetable and you are not cooking the honey just mixing it into the water. If you put celery in hot potatoe salad you dont lose the nutrients in the celery because it was not cooked. Honestly i am not sure that honey has any nutritional value anyway :-)

No it does not. I have always put honey in my tea instead of sugar. It tastes much better and helps sooth a sore throat.

honey in tea is a very good thing to do , much mich better than sugar , so dont worry u r doing the right thing !

Not so far as I know. I do that too. Even if it does, it's got to be better for you than refined sugar. Dentists may not agree though...

god no. i do that too. it doesnt appear to. its actually much more tasty and gives that naughty sugar taste for free.
