I want to go lighter but im not light skinned..so I want a color thats not going to make me look fake

hi if you are worried about about looking fake then maybe you should stick to the more natural colors like 1 or 1b which is black and off black but if u really want a color try no.8 it's a chestnut brown i hope this was helpful.

Look online for celebs that have your coloring and see how they have lightening their hair. If you have a laptop, then you can bring that to your hair appointment and show it to your stylist, or bring in photos from magazines. Always have a visual of what you want for your stylist and discuss it first. There might be other factors that could change how your hair will react.

A dark brown color would be pretty and not make you look fake.
