Why does the Catholics do the "Sign of the Cross"?
Is it commanded by God to make a Sign of the Cross before and after praying? Does the early Christians did it too? Is it written in the Holy Scriptures?

They do the sign of the cross because they believe by doing that it might give them defense against danger. That’s way, every time they feel fear they do the sign of the cross, but how ironic it is after their mass the priest do the big sign of the cross in front of his follower (why he did that, is there a danger or enemies in his front) you have to read between the lines.

There is no verse in the bible that states that God commanded/ordered His people to make the sign of the cross! What is written in the bible is this: A prophecy that there will be people who will receive the mark of the "anti-Christ" with the Right hands and foreheads.

there is a prophecy in the bible that whoever will governed by the power of the beast or anti Christ, will be given a mark in their foreheads and right hand just like what is written in the book of Revelation 13:16 And he caused all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their forehead:

The mark in the forehead and the right hand pertains to what the Catholics called as the” sign of the cross" . Have you ever noticed that nobody makes the sign of the Cross with their left hand? Even left handed people do the signed of the cross with their right hands. This the realization of the prophecy in the bible

it's a worship thing for us Catholics. the sign of the cross is a symbol of Christ. by making that sign, we acknowledge His presence, and share that symbol with others....it's not commanded by God. I'm not sure if the early Christians did that then too. It isn't written in the scriptures, no. it's all about symbolism.

Yes it is written in the Holy Scriptures that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are all God, and that we are to worship them. The sign of the cross is just one simple way of doing so.

signal OF THE go the most accepted occupation of the Christian faith in action type. The cruciform signal professes one's perception in human redemption by Christ's lack of existence on the go. The pronunciation of the names of the three Divine persons professes perception contained in the Holy Trinity. the first of the Church's sacramentals, it has its origins in apostolic situations. it truly is made by saying, "contained in the call of the daddy, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit," and its action takes one in each of those a go. One touches the forehead, the breast, and the left and proper shoulders with the right hand because the words are recited. The prayer ends with "Amen" and is mostly made with holy water as someone enters a church or chapel or, in religious communities, upon entering one's room.

Catholics believe that ones actions should reflect their beliefs. Catholics make the sign of the cross to affirm their belief in a tiune God - teh father, Son and Holy Spirit. God commanded us to love Him and this is one way in which we show that we do.

Does YOUR faith state that one's actions should reflect one's beliefs?

I think there's no problem with that. There's no different between praying with folded hands or praying with youre right hand raised. Man looks at the ouitside but GOd looks in the Heart.

It's just a sign of our faith in the Blessed Trinity, Father, Son, and Spirit, and a reminder of what Jesus did for us.

God bless,

Right after the part where you were commanded to ask questions on the internet and before the part that gives you the address to your church.

No more so than folding your hands, bowing your head, standing, sitting, kneeling, or, in fact, praying in church at all.

Jesus told you christians to go into a closet to pray. Please comply.
