Yep, you got it... That's what ALL Religions do... They think they can work their way to God by doing good works.
I'm so glad that Christianity is different.
Here is the Christian Model.
1) Don't do this stuff because it's bad
2) Uh oh, you did this stuff. You deserve Justice.
3) God did something so you don't get Justice
4) Repent and Trust in Him and get Mercy not Justice
5) Warn others that they did that stuff too.
