Before we didn't need a passport but I know the laws just changed in January. How long does it take and how much does it cost. The best place to get them at?
Thank You,

It used to take about 60 days or if you paid double you could get it in two weeks. But with the law changes, things have been very backed up. Do not delay, apply asap.

You will be DRIVING to Rosarito - you DO NOT underline and highlight DO NOT ... need a passport until January of 2008 for land crossings. I wish I had a dime for everytime this came up in here. Take your driver's license, go, and have fun.

Here is the link to the official government site.

The Passport Agency says the processing time for them is around 8 weeks. You need to submit the application form, photographs, and a certified copy of your birth certificate.

The cost is $97 for the passport and it is good for 10 years. Go to your post office for the application form and instructions.
