I believe there is because that is where Jesus ascended to and because that is where we will spend all of eternity.
Jesus went there to prepare a place for us and he also promise to come back and take us there. Man there are many reasons why we should believe ther is a place called heaven.

Man, I hate that expression:
"Do you believe in....."!!!
I assume you refer to the place where God resides and if I'm going there.
Since you asked:
There is that blue expanse above our heads that is often referred to as 'the heavens'.
There is the universe, sometimes referred to as 'the heavens'.
There is some area way out there where God resides and it, too, is called heaven.
I "believe" all that exists.
Am I going to go where God resides?
Never.
Our place is the earth.
A better earth would be nice ....but earth.

I don't believe in the description literally. There is another dimension or spiritual home though and I don't believe anyone alive has really seen it. We only know bits and pieces we have seen with our own eyes. It was proof to me but it would not convince you by hearsay!!

not necessarily.
it is only a reference in religious, unprovable, mythological texts. there is nothing logical about biblical or other religious nonsense.
Hogwarts sounds like a really neat place, but I don't believe in it just because it sounds neat.
