She is tress passing and you have asked her nicely not to come around then yes the police can infact remove her and have her car towed away. So I would call the cops the next time and explain to them that you have a tresspasser and you would like them to come and remove her for you. You can also go and talk to them to find out what sort of restraning orders will work for your situation which if you have one of those and she still comes with in so many feet you can call and she will be put in jail for braking it. Hope this helps good luck.

Look I know it is frustrating as all get out but I don't really think turning your back on her is not the best answer available.
I have a 36 year old brother in law the entire family has turned their back on him and he drives around all day stoned out of his gord he can barely hold his head up.
I call the police hoping to get him arrested for a while so he might get cleaned up but for some reason they can't locate him.
I tried to force him into rehab but with out a court order they can only keep him for 36 hrs unless he goes willingly.
I know that My brother in law is going to end up dead.
I just pray that the rest of the family can face that day and know that they did every thing they could do to help him.
Call the police and keep calling. You have to do what ever it takes to get her away from the drugs.
I know I would rather Know where my child was than to wonder where she is. To know If she was dead or alive. You can have her arrested for being under the influence If she is raising caine in the house there really are a lot more ways of handeling this that are better than just putting her on the street and saying I'm done.
I am in the process of going to court to try and get Power of attorney over my brother in law so I can force him into Rehab.
I am a sister in law Not a family member whos job is this? I will probably lose but I will know I gave one heck of fight.

Putting a restraining order is a little too far..but removing her is something that you may just ask about. Call you local police dept and ask them the exact same questions you are asking her. Also if she is not in the right state of mind and the police come they could probably put her in a drug facility. Just research all your alternatives and make sure that you do not let her down. Stand behind her rehabilitation.

Tell her to get help or she gets put out on the street with a restraining order... how does she get prescription pills with NO money? and yes police can physically remove her.. it is your house and it doesnt matter if she is family or not.. lay it down and tell her straight up that you will let her move back in if she gets help and stays away from the drugs and gets a job!

Legally, you can have her removed. She's an adult, and you can tell her to get out if she's going to harm herself.
Make sure your spouse is on board, though. Since this is your stepdaughter, you need to make sure your spouse is in agreement with how to treat her (or his) daughter.
My dad went through this with my stepsisters. One of them actually died of an overdose. After that, the he kicked the other out when she wouldn't get help with her drug problems. It's caused some friction between he and his wife, but they are just kind of in a bind....
Good luck.

Call the police the next time she refuses to leave and file a formal compliant then you can get an order of protection and she wont be able to come with in 300 ft of you or your house, and tell her when she gets clean she's welcomed back to your home. I know it's tough but dad did it to me and it was the best thing he ever did for me I was pissed for awhile but when I realize he saved me life I thanked him.

I beleive the law says that you would have to give some sort of official notice. The state generally will hold that their primary residence is your home if they lived there for the last 30 days or longer. So you will probably have to go through the formal motions of eviction. As long as she is of age your repsonsibilities to her ended legally when she turned 18.

if you really, really, want to help your daughter, call the police, have her removed, each and every time she comes around YOUR HOME. when you allow her access to YOUR home you enable her to do drugs in comfort and at her leizure, she is 21, time to grow up and take responsibility for all her actions, at this point all she cares about is where she's going to get her next high and where is she going to do it. wise up, say, NO MORE, NOT HERE, NOT EVER HERE! GOOD LUCK, YOU CAN DO IT

Since she's over 18, the police can take care of that.
It's called "Tough Love". As long as she thinks she can come back, she'll never change.
Next time, call the police and hope for the best.
Good luck

this is the best answer:
there is a book i read about a 23 years old addicted guy who goes into a rehab center, what you need to do is to buy this book, read it and try to give it to your stepdaughter( doesn't matter if she doesn't read it)
kick her out of the home is not an option, kicking her means she's GONE!...
call a rehab center, force her to enter that center and have the appropriate treatment to get her out of her addiction.
1 more sip of alcohol or drugs , SHE'S GONE!..
be aware of this ..this is a life or death situation...
