Only in the past. It involved the sounding of the shofar, the recital of prayers and anointing the person possessed with oil and water over which Psalms were said. The demon or spirit concerned had to be identified, and in the case of a 'naked soul' which becomes a dibbuk, the sin which led it to attach itself to a human body had to be discovered. This sin needs rectification (tikkun) so that after expulsion the soul is at rest. The exorcism of haunted places involved various techniques such as chanting Psalm 91 and the Priestly Blessing, circumambulation of the building with a sefer torah, pouring water over the doorstep, making loud noises to scare off demons, reciting formula prohibiting demons from dwelling there and putting up a kosher mezuzah on the doorpost.
