There is a story in the Islamic history about a battle called "Sareyat Al Kadeed" where prophet Muhammed sent his companions to invade a neighbour village. The story tells that the Muslim army waited outside the village and watched until the night came in and people went to bed, then the Muslim army invaded the village where they killed, enslaved and looted all the valuables and brought them back to prophet Muhammed.

Was that the only way for prophet Muhammed to spread his word?

The story did not even mention anything about preaching the words of prophet Muhammed.

You can also find it in any Islamic history book (in Arabic) such as Ibn Hisham, Al Wakidy...etc

Praise be to Allah.

Before you post any statement told by Al - Waqidi, You have to know that this guy is considered by scientists of Al hadeath as a man with good knowledge in Islamic battles and is considered VERY VERY weak narrater
So, he knows about battles but not in right details.

Besids, You have to know that early muslims didn't kill when they want to spread Islam. So when muslims offer Islam to other villages, muslims were not allowed to TOUCH thier swords unless people of those villages attack them, and if this happen ofcourse muslim should defend theirselves and it then turns into a real battle. As long as it's a battle, valuables of such villages are allowed to be looted by muslims if they won the battle that was started by the enemies' fault.

The only time or instance when the Muslims are allowed by Allah to "pick up the sword" is in "self-defense" or in the case where war has been declared against the Muslims.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), being the Recipient of the Divine Revelation of the Holy Qur'an, would not be entrusted by Allah with such Guidance if he did not have the Character to Uphold it, for Allah clearly states that He will not impose on any soul a duty beyond its scope. Therefore, it is erroneous to suggest that a Man who was Given the Greatest of Gifts - Divine Revelation - wherein the Believers, including Muhammad, are instructed by Allah to "be NOT aggressive; would violate such Guidance or Instruction.

I know of no people who have killed more people in the name of Religion than those who call(ed) themselves Christians.

The Crusades
The Spanish Inquisition
World War 1
World War 2
The Civil War
The Revolutionary War
The Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade
The Iraq War (Spreading "democracy" by the "sword" (bombs) ).

If you are looking for corruption, you can find it anywhere, among every people, every religion, every nation. We are yet imperfect as human beings, and the shortcomings of those who claim this or that "Religion" should not be attributed to the Principles upon which the Religion is Founded. The shortcomings are the result of Misunderstanding...in whatever form it may manifest.

what's the completed objective to multiply and subdue the global. you want to understand this one issue, sure figuring out on a woman to marry has no longer something to do with faith; yet faith has were given something to do with marriage. in this there are those who're to have babies and some no longer. it isn't discrimination yet only a realisation and some extent og reasoning. you're growing to be this too some distance my buddy, Prophet Muhammed became only a messenger of God, issues which he did no longer have say or issues that are are literally not wrote contained in the Holy e book are nonetheless hidden to mankind.

Well most Arab Muslims are Sunnis and I happen to be a Shiat.
So I don't agree with most of what they say about the Prophet. I'm certain that whenever the Prophet had war prisoners, he would free them under a certain condition. One of the conditions happened to be that the prisoner had to teach 10 of the Prophet's followers how to read and write.

Here is a link that clears up most of the stuff said in Arabic stories.
