Yes the reffing has been lousy. hesitant to deduct points, careless with the safety of the fighters. I thought Urk started butting because he had no chance and Miguel was getting solid body shots in hurting Urk.

Brent ~
The Earl of Trollshire asked this question the other day, but it was Cotto headbutting Urkal. I wrote to him that it seemed to be going both ways, but it was ironic that Cotto was the only one stepping back from the clinch rubbing his eye or the top of his head. Urkal has a awkward style and I think that he knew there was no way he could win the bout so he did what he thought was necessary and used his head (Ha!)

I'll write you this much Brent, the past couple of fights that I have watched the refereeing has been hideous, during this bout there should had points deducted or possibly a disqualification. Then there was the bout with Burgos. That kid was never in the fight, had no chance of ever being in the fight and the referee let a kid almost get beaten to death. The referee should be held accountable.

Lousy refereeing with bad outcomes. Thanks for the question Brent. Peace, Brother.
