Since Vista is out I only hear bad think. Look like they just include a good new style to the interface but not really more.

If you have the choice (forget the price) between XP and Vista
Witch one you choose?

Vista for certain. The built-in security features, although they are a pain to some people, help secure your computer like never before. Now, you'll still need to install an antivirus program, but the built-in features are better than ever before.

The interface, unlike what many have said, is virtually the same. The buttons are in the same location, etc. The difference is how the contents in various windows are displayed. But if you don't like how the contents are listed, just click on the 'View' button and change it. People, for whatever reason, aren't willing to customize their experience using Vista and making it work for them.

There's just so much more than just a 'pretty new interface' as some people say. There is much improved networking features and lots of new utilities that it make it easier to maintain your system, etc.

All in all, while Vista does require more memory (any newer version of software does), it's far more superior than XP.

Vista. some human beings say Vista makes use of up plenty gadget ram. that's real. Vista makes use of those ram to hurry up the workstation. Thats why there is no longer plenty unfastened ram. Xp wastes those unfastened ram doing no longer something. Vista is much extra properly suited than XP than u think of that's. Vista hasn't any difficulty to me for a million twelve months already. Vista is speedier while beginning utility and beginning the workstation. some human beings evaluate XP as a results of fact they are too used to XP or they are gamer. it variety of feels vista is slower in video games with the help of two-5 fps. No huge deal. VISTa!

XP will win. It has alot of experience in its own field. Vista is still a "baby" in the OS world. There will be many bugs for the 1st several weeks. Plus, XP is simple, and not alot of Computers need all of the upgrades to match Vista's compatibility downloads.
