Just like people each dog is different. Some are picky eaters some aren't but the key thing is making sure she eats enough. I say if she is eating the resommended daily amount for her size and breed there is no problem. If the texture is the problem as far as hard food, try soaking it in some warm water for 5 minues before you give it to her. It may be that the hard food hurts to chew and it wouldn't bother the other one if she is more or less just swallowing it.

You can try a high protein diet like Innova if you want your dog to gain weigh. It's very healthy and will help prevent excess shedding as well. It's also expensive, about $45 to $50 for a 35 lb bag (puppy food, the name is Innova Evo). If you don't want to fork out the dough for an expensive food, try adding egg - maybe only on a weekly basis, it helps with a shiny coat & dogs love egg. I also add milk to the food. Dogs love oatmeal as well, add a little warm water to the oatmeal and kibble...they'll eat it up very quickly. It's also very good for their digestive tract.
If you don't want to have to give them any supplements & just want them to eat their food...try blending it in a food processor with a little bit of water, they think it's a treat. It's a great way to avoid the high price of canned food!
