Someone asked me this last week, and I can't get it out of my head. If everyone has it I am thinking along the lines of the human body, but I could be wrong.

Does anyone know the answer to this. I haven't slept for days:-)

Thanks

Colsy

Sounds like a trick question to me. If the question was asked to you exactly that way, I'm wondering if there is significance to the word "measures", like it's an item you use to measure. I'm thinking maybe your eyes. You use them to measure 35cm (or any value, using a tape measure), and most people have those.

My first impulse was a ruler or yardstick, but 35 cm works out to about 14", so it's too long for a ruler and too short for a yardstick. However, yardstick could be right, since it will measure 35 cm just fine. In that respect, so would a tape measure. Not everyone has them, but I think most people have a yardstick or tape measure.

This is a guess, but i suspect that the oesophagus (gulllet) in an adult is about 35cm from throat to stomach. It would obviously be a lot smaller in children but I think there is less variation in that than in adult bone lengths.

Think something to do with urinating? Either the thing you pull to flush the stench down after doing it at home, or possibly that bit of you used to direct the flow into the pan prior to pulling?

It could b fore arm, but definitely not the coccyx. The duodenum is 25 cm, jejeunum, ileum 260 & the colon 110cms. So its definitely not the gut .

It's either butt or nasal hair. I'm persuaded to go for the former as the latter would be obvious and then you wouldn't have to ask in the first place.

See when people say things like that it gnerally means it is something unique. And if everyone has it it must be the same no matter what height you are.

Hmmmm

Coccyx?

Don't know if I spelt it correctly but it is the redundant bit of your spine that would be a tail - (if we had one) and can really be sore if damaged!
