Ghosts are the same as spirits. They are real. Good & bad ones.

But the people (souls/ spirits) who live on this earth (when they die) go to heaven, a place of rest or hell fire. They aren't floating around talking to you. Except in an instance that Jesus introduced you to a Prophet of the Lord God. Saints in heaven can talk to you to answer a prayer, if Father God or Jesus wills it. But Jesus comes first. Jesus said that no one comes to the Father except through Him. He is the intermediary between God and mankind.

God Is. But I also believe (trust & obey) God in Jesus Name. Devils also believe in God, but they don't commit to God, unless it is a different God than the God of Israel/ Christianity.

yes, you can believe in ghosts and believe in God. Both notions are believable. And it doesn't mean you even have to believe in demons, etc.

May people, including some answering here, equate ghosts and demons to be the same, or at least say that if you believe in Satan, etc you can believe in ghosts. ACTUALLY, that's not true.

just to clarify,
The idea of Hell, Satan and demons is a creation of the catholic church in the middle ages in an attempt to scare people into acting right. Threats of eternal damnation kept people acting the way the church wanted them too. And it makes logical sense too. The middle ages was a time of many fantastic beliefs. You see things like dragons, etc. becoming popular around that time and hell was a story that happened to fit the times. There was no christian belief in hell before the middle ages. Jewish tradition, from which Christianity springs, does not believe in Hell, but simply in a temporary purification stage called Gehenna.

So yes, you can believe in ghosts and God. Is it not plausible that ghosts may be just in a pre-heaven stage, like purgatory or Gehenna? Ask yourself also, can you believe in ghosts if you don't believe in God?????

People get all scared when you say Ghost around them and they believe in God, they feel more comfortable with spirit. I dont know the difference and I guess their isnt one because Christians say both "The Holy Spirit" and "The Holy Ghost" so I'd say it's ok to believ in both.

i believe ghosts are more like imprints. They aren't really trapped and ghosts are connected to God. As a christian I don't think anyone could have a full idea of God or what exists when we die.

Ghosts are talked about in the Bible, so to honor God one MUST believe in both.

Oh NO!! I am sure about God but it's hard for me to take those ghost shows seriously. I shouldn't even watch them but I DO!! I hear what you're saying. If you want to take them seriously then they are "trapped spirits" and they exist between the afterlife and life. The bible talks of spirits. But don't let anyone tell you who or what you are or what you believe!! That's for You to decide!!

if you believe in God, you should know there's no such things as ghosts! there are deamons and angels. and the deamons may appear to you as ghosts or something else weird. they just want to throw you off! getting you to not believe in God with ghosts, suffering, sin, etc. is their ultimate goal... which is unfortunatly working on most people.

To believe in God is to believe in the spirit world, but when it comes to being allowed to do something it is up to you.
