Next time you visit London, book an appointment at their training academy (contact directory enquiries for the number). It costs a fraction of the price of their usual salons (maybe 5 pounds for a cut). The hairdressers are often already qualified but just on refresher courses, and there is always a supervisor.

My daughter is a stylist for Tony & Guy in Bristol. If she did your hair it would be worth every penny, however much you paid. But it's anywhere from £40 upwards. Ask for Carly

It was about £45 last time i went.

I went every 6 weeks for 3 years and found they became complacent and stopped listening to what i was asking for...

So definitely go (the first hair cut was my first ever actual hair style!) but leave as soon as you feel you're not getting your moneys worth. The best hair cut Ive had recently was at a local hardressers 'trainee' day.... £7.50 and she listened to what I said, suggested ideas and spent HOURS on it, which made me feel very pampered! All for a bargain price! (with trainee days, normally they're just graduating and are checked before they start- on what they're discussing with you-, during and then at the end).

Personally I find word of mouth is the best option- speak to friends and see who they suggest in your local area (because, if nothing else, the proof of their words is pretty evident!!)

Godd luck!

With a stylist a cut and blow dry would cost £26 for women and £22 for men.
With a senior stylist a cut and blow dry would cost £30 for women and £26 for men.
With a premier stylist a cut and blow dry would cost £32 for women and £28 for men.
With a creative director a cut and blow dry would cost £36 for women and £32 for men. hope that helps x

Do you want a senior stylist, designer, etc ?
i used to pay around £65 but never again, Stylist don't seem to have the skills for cutting all the same length hair properly.
Iv tried alot of top hairdressers & wont go back to them now.!!!

They are kind of expensive. It depends on how high up the stylist is. Anywhere from 50 bucks - 200
