ok, for about 5 years now i have had a very bad problem with my ears plugging because of ear wax not being able to come out, when i use this stuff called debrox it sometimes fixes it, but not always, anyways, well when my problem started to get bad stopped going under water because i wa saffriad water would get stuck beind the wax, so just yesterday i told my self that it was all in my head, that water might have nothing or liitle to do with my ear plugging, so yesterday for the first time in about 4 years i strated swimming under water, nothing happened, everytime i came up the water came out, but for some reason when ever i go barly under it feels like i have 20 feet of water pressing on my ears. is it because i dont remember water thet well??? anyways my question is, do you know if in fact it is safe for me to be underwater?? and why my ears have so much pressure on them when im hardly under it. sorry if tis was cofussing

Okay, it can be excessive ear wax. Your best option is to see and ENT (Ear Nose and Throat specialist). You could have tubes placed in your ears so that you ears can drain. You may have allergy symptoms and congested sinus and they can prescribe medications that will aleve some of the pressure. Either way you will not be able to resolve these issues without seeing a doctor. Good luck to you!

Putting peroxide in your ear while you are laying on your side for about 10 minutes helps with all that. Do it as often as needed. It is not comfortable, but it helps. Also, use a q-tip everyday to get wax out. Water pressure is uncomfortable, but nothing serious. I hope i have helped you. Best wishes.
