It seems like us girls always make sure we look nice, we care about looking nice for the guys, acting all sweet to them, etc. but the guys don't seem to care how they dress or what they look like or whatever but they expect US to look nice and wear nice clothes, or at least clothes that look good but they don't have to...what is up with that?? If they want us to be attracted to them why don't they want to look attractive?

HAH! That reminds me of "Clueless" when Cher says, "Not to be a traitor to my generation or anything, but I just don't get the way guys dress. They wake up, throw on baggy jeans, put a cap over their greasy hair, and like, we're supposed to swoon?? I don't think so!" In our society, men are expected to be smart and financially successful and women are meant to be beautiful and aesthetically appealing. But honestly, some guys should get a clue and dress nicer- women go crazy for that. A great book to read is "Reviving Ophelia", case studies by Mary Pipher. Interesting.

Because guys are pretty much a dime a dozen and to stand out it usually takes alot. There is such thing as cost/benefit analysis. You see, the only time we ae motivated to really shine is when we are guaranteed to impress a girl.
So when we dress up and go out with a girl and she notices it makes it worthwhile. Spending time every day on something that will go un-noticed is beyond unnecessary. that goes for guys and girls. You women are the ones that think you need to dress up and be the hawtness all day every day. I mean it's nice to see the girls dressed up but who cares if you want to be comfortable instead of sexy?

Sweetie, maybe your looking at the WRONG guys. There are lots of guys out there that care what they look like. If your in High School or Junior High then thats why because MOST young guys in that catagory take a shower about twice a week if even that . I know because I raised two boys. There are some that stand in front of the mirror for hours.

Not ALL guys like to leave the house looking like slobs. I prefer to dress nice, myself.

Bcoz we girls gave them tooo much importance.But trust me gone r those days,now guys r also doing lots of things to look cool,smart,n attractive.Bcoz we womens r n demand now. NJOY
