i just bought a nissan 240sx and i was wondering how much would it cost me to change the title to my name.?

The tilte it self cost $15 dollars that is together with the sales tax.You have to take the old title from the former owner and have him sign it on the back, write your name and the selling amount. With this document you go to registry of motor vehicle where you pay the sales tax,TITLE FEE and others fees acording with the amount you bought the car, that is around $300. Or you can give this document to your insurance company that will do everything for you. After 3 or 4 weeks the registry of mothor vehicle will send you a new title in your name. People that didn't pay the car in full yet, have to wait until the last payment, to receive the new title in the mail.
