There's this girl that I (a male) am interested in, but wanted to take her to a few places as friends, first. Mostly to get to know her better. Where are some different places where a female friend can be taken for a good time?

Please, when answering this, tell of places where we can actually talk or interact in some way. In this way, movie theaters would be canceled out of the list because you don't really talk during a movie...

Please answer with a few different places where we can actually talk or interact in some way.

MANY THANKS! I love Yahoo! Answers, there are great people here with great answers.

First you should find out what she likes! For instance does she like sports, dancing, singing b/c you would hate to take her to a b-ball game if she is not a sports fan! It will be a bad look so, find out what her hobbies are. If she is a spontaneous girl take her to a karaoke bar, go to get dancing lesson like salsa, tango etc, go to a sports game or attend fun workshops some teach you how to bartend (free drinks all night!!) tons of fun!!!, some teach you how to cook and you can eat whatever concoction you put together! And you can attend with friends, date whatever it is not just a couple thing. If she is laid back take her to a comedy club, a nice lounge vs. a restaurant b/c of the atmosphere you can dance, eat and listen to music, go to a play not a boring one but like a Tyler Perry play, see a concert vs. a movie b/c the movies are so played out! You can visit the 9:30 club they always have nice musical acts. I will list below some links that will take you to some spots I mentioned above.

Sensible question with a sensible premise. Many find the coziness of a good restaurant to be ideal. Olive Garden, TGIFridays, Bennigans and Chilis, to name just a few, are good locations. The food is good, not expensive, and the atmosphere is conducive to conversation. You want to find places where she will feel relaxed in the surroundings so that she will be willing to engage in lively conversation. Really, a lot depends on the girl and what you already know about her. If you don't know what her favorite places are or anything about her real interests, try the restaurant route and see what develops. Most people find relaxation while dining and thus are more willing to engage in talk. The most important key in successful social discoursing will be how relaxed and comfortable the both of you will be. If you pick a place that serves good food, is relatively quiet with some privacy, you'll be surprised how much you might learn about her. Good luck.

An art museum would be good you could get to know her thoughts and feelings about what she sees and art is great. Ice skating, a walk in a beautiful place like a park, the zoo, a wine walk. I think it all depends on the lady. Hope some of my ideas give you ideas and it turns out great for you.

i think that one of the places that you can take a female friend is maybe out for some ice cream talk a little or maybe i know this might sound kinda childish but to an arcade and there you maybe able to interact while both of you are having fun... you can also take her to a romantic dinner of course maybe give her roses to kinda give her the idea that you want something other than just a friendship...

well the point is place where there is a lot of people and where you can take picture together. well if a girl feel comforable taking picture with you and just you a lone, then she is interested in you. beside going out mean having fun, so choose place where like disney on ice where it is a show to see and take pic, great america where it is a long waiting line, so you can talkmore. good luck

You can take her out to eat to restaurants, fast food places, diners or wherever you both enjoy foods. Then afterwards, Dave & Busters is a good idea. You can play games together & talk at the same time. Have fun! and Here's the link:

I'd say bowling or for a walk in the park. Bowling is pretty flexible, and will give you something to talk about. Also, you can see what she's like when she competes. Walking in the park is good, too, especially dog parks (if you have a dog) since it gives you a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Where are you mate? If you're in london I'd recommend restaurants like Souk in Soho, or Sarastro in Covent Gardens, and if you like singaporean food my personal favourite is a food court called ORiental Plaza in Collindale. If its a warm evening a walk in Richmond Hill is unbeatable.

Best of luck buddy!

If you are near a state park, there is a lot of time to be able to go hiking and things of that nature. If you are into that kinda of thing, Id highly suggest it. Where else can you be in raw nature, out of yourself, and have a good time doing.
