Recently I started talking to this guy I used to date a few years ago, we had sex in the past and he's been wanting to hang out lately. I just thought it mighta been some type of booty call or something. I fianlly agreed to go out with we went out to lunch and went over to his place to watch a movie, then things started to get a little hot beween us and we were about to have sex and he stop it. He said he wanted to take me out and hang out more before we did anything. But it's not like we haven't did it before. whats is he really thinking? Is he really just being nice guy or not interested?

Nice to hear a guy actually did such a thing as that! Don't be too hasty to think he isn't interested. Maybe he wants to find out what other things you two might have in common this second time around. He is being a nice guy and those are hard to find anymore! A true relationship is way more than sex! It is a bonding of hearts and minds together. Great sex can be found all around anywhere. But it takes a closeness of a different kind to make a relationship stand the test of time. Without the communion of hearts and minds, it's just sex. He wants to see what all you are about on the inside. He sounds like someone with a good deal of sense to me. You ought to keep him around!

By far I am not a therapist nor pretending to be one but have you considered that maybe he is looking for something more and he chose you...He could be a changed man that's wants to do the right thing. Or maybe you should ask him, im sure he'd tell you. Since he said that he want to hang out ask him then. I'd think that he is being a nice guy. Make sure y'all practice safe sex!
Good Luck!

Everytime I have held off from having sex with a woman it was because I wanted to give her a chance to be something more. Sex fogs a relationship up with physical emotion and mental sparring. Sometimes it's good to just be with a person without 'being' with a person.

If he still likes being with you, sans the sex, take it as a compliment.......that is unless you just want to play hanky panky.

Maybe he got emotionally attached or hurt in the past when you guys had a relationship and does not want it to happen again. So before he makes love to you maybe this time he wants to make sure the relationship is stable and lasting.

He wants to just take things slow. If he wasnt interested then he wouldnt have wanted to hang out. So just hang in there and take things slow, your better off that way.

He's trying to show you that he's not just calling for a booty-call like you were originally thinking. He's trying to be respectful and let you know that he's actually interested.

He may really want this relationship to work this time. He is savoring the time together. No need to rush if you're heading toward a good thing.

WHAT'S A GUY TO DO. The guy is being nice and not rushing to get into your pants and you are wondering what's wrong with him. GO FIGURE.

Either the guy has someone else in his mind or he really loves you and wants to have the best time with you.
