Come on now, it's all about pasta or any other Italian dish, pizza is a simple food-That helps get the job done on a Friday Night because you don't feel like cooking. However, pasta, fills you up-to where you need to undo a few buttons :)

Hi..I am Italian..and I cook both pasta and pizza at home..both are good and healthy..it only depends on what ingredients you add..fox exmaple in many diets the traditional pizza margherita can be a valid substitute to pasta with fresh tomatoes and parmisan cheese..I can't choose between the two..I usually eat pizza at least twice a week..and pasta three times..I love them so much.. and what do you prefer?

Nutritionally or taste wise? Well, that all depends.

A thin crust veggie pizza slice is really good for you, better than pasta. BUT a slab of buttery crust meat pizza is JUNk for you- yet it tastes Fabulous!

Best bet nutritionally is whole wheat pasta with a veggie sauce, whether garlic and olive oil or a light marinara.

Best bet taste wise is a big thick crust loaded pizza. (Tums on the side!)

I would have said pasta but I don't eat it any more. Sob! I miss pasta! But it is not my friend. It just makes me pile on the weight like nothing else!

So pizza it has to be. Which is ok, cos that's scrummy too!

What do you mean by better? Is it better for you? Or better tasting?
I think that pasta can be healthy if it's home-made with low fat content. Also, home-made pizza with fresh toppings is not that bad.
What I personally prefer is pizza!!

Pasta health ways, pizza are full of hidden fat , high sugar content, and sky high salt content. If you value your health don,t touch pizza, they should carry a health warning.
