do i have to file for taxes, even if the business didnt make a penny? no employees yet. no revenues whatsoever.

YES! You would file a return that shows $0 income and $) deductions. YOU HAVE TO FILE A RETURN!

you don't have to report anything for a new business that has no revenue or expenses
