Omnipotence and Omniscience can't co-exist. The bible says God is both. If you are omniscient, you know what you will do in the future, which means you can't change your mind. If you are omnipotent, you can change your mind which means you don't know the future.

There are other ways to disprove God, but this one is my favorite.

The only way God cannot be disproven is if you define God in a way that is not logically inconsistent or contradictory.

Jed: I strongly recommend that you do. My logic is sound.

Interesting argument. Depends on how you define omniscient. I define it to be having unlimited knowledge--or knowing everything. In example, knowing the outcome of a decision.
But think about it: Just because you are omniscient doesn't mean you can't change what you will do in the future. Think about God as a chess player. He sees what will happen IF he makes a certain move, then he can choose to either make that move or not.
I don't know why I am arguing. I don't believe anyway--I just like logic.

Yeah, but if you were God, wouldn't you be more powerful then these two? What I mean is just because God knows the future, why couldn't He change His mind? After all, if God is in control of the future, He can do what He likes with it. Or am I missing the meaning of these terms? And when you say the Biblical God, do you also include Gods from other religions?

Just give up. . . You think you're such a genuis? Then why haven't you figured out yet that you're not going to change anybody's minds? Get over yourself. It's a personal decision - Not one that you or anyone else can make for somebody. Be a little more open minded - Don't let it bother you so much that somebody else has a different opinion or idea than what you have - It's really not a big deal. It's amazing that people say that they are against Christianity and against God and yet continue to spend so much time concentrating on it.

First Let look at the two words
Omniscience is the capacity to know everything infinitely, or at least everything that can be known about a character including thoughts, feelings, life and the universe, etc
Omnipotence (literally, "all power") is power with no limits or inexhaustible, in other words, unlimited power.
I see that Omniscience is knowing everything and Omnipotence is all powerful. I see both go hand and hand with each other and not against each other.

Dontt expect logic to work on those kind.
Penny, if you were a true atheist, you would recognize that the circular logic written into the Bible is designed so that you cannot "test" their God. It is simple - the Christian God cannot exist as described. THis is evident in the simple fact that the Christian God is alleged to be Perfect, and to not have any flaws or human characteristics - yet, by his own mouth, He calls Himself "for I am a JEALOUS GOD." Jealousy is hardly a perfect quality, and is most definitly a human quality... And, we can seee that even Ce-Ce tells us not to place these human qualities on God.

*thus God dissapears in a puff of logic.
gees I bet God's kicking himself about that little gramatical error.
I'm an atheist and I dont believe you can disprove the biblical God. The bible has pleanty loopholes that involve not testing the word of god etc...otherwise it would have been done along time ago.

You don't disprove anything!
I know for sure, 100%, that there is a God. I am born again, I'm born of the Spirit of God, that's one way that I KNOW.
If you want to be saved, humble yourself and turn to God

As fundamentally sound as your beliefs are you are attempting to tie down GOD with human perceptions. even though the Bible uses words to try and describe GOD and GODS abilities there are no words or definitions that can really describe GODs true nature.

Interesting. Of the thousands of biblical scholars who have tried, you have found a way to set yourself apart. Good for you. I hope you have the unmost faith in your findings, because I believe your eternal soul is on the line.
