You are definitely in a sticky situation. I always say go for it, flirt with her and see how she responds. If you get a vibe saying she is not into it, then stop flirting and put your libido to rest. At that point just interact with her only as a friend and stop any and all flirting etc. On the other hand, maybe she will respond back to your flirting in a positive matter. If this happens, i say set a night with her and make her a nice dinner. While you are eating, tell her how you feel. Maybe she feels the same, maybe not, but at least you would know and be able to move on. Good Luck!

Whoever hasn't been there don't raise your hand! It really sucks, I know. Yea, you can try having a girlfriend, but, you know it's just a sham to let the one you really want think that you're getting along fine with life. So, unless you can find that "right" moment to let her know how you really feel, you got to SUFFER! Girls are good for that. Look, you already said "it ain't gonna happen". So unless you want to take "boxing lessons", at a real gym, get the snot beat out of you at least twice a month, and hope she comes to see you get a beat down and feel sorry for you, don't say jack! (You may be taking a chance on not being in her life at all.) So one night tell her that you've got no plans and ask her if it's okay to hang with her and her friends. Maybe if you hit it off with one of those fine mamas she will look at you differently. I feel for you Bro.( make sure you're dressed sharp and got some cash in yer pocket so you don't look like a loser). You are in one classical Love pickle. Good luck and try to be the Man!

I know it is hard finding a place to stay, but you should move out b/c seeing her everyday can only make things worst! Try dating hopefully you will meet a lot of wonderful women that will take your mind off of liking her so much, Then you can transfer the energy to someone who will like you back. Which will put your live in buddy in the friend zone!

Go out, stop thinking about her and find someone else.

As long as you're focussed on one woman, all the other, perfectly damned-fine women won't even register, so you get this sort of tunnel vision. Eventually it becomes you're whole world, and it will feel utterly disastrous if she doesn't go with you.

You must get out of this downward spiral my friend!

Besides, if you land someone even better looking you'll go up in her estimation. She'll (probably) reason that if you've picked up someone really cool you've got a hell of a lot going for you that she's somehow missed...

Chances are the girl has the same feelings about you and feels the same way as you do and is too scared to make a move.
You have nothing to loose except a roommate!
As a girl as long as she doesn't have a boyfriend or a fiance or a husband... Go for it!!!
Good Luck!!!

I'm telling you right now it isn't easy. I would say almost impossible. You want them so bad but you know it will never happen. You can try to hide your feelings and just go in with life...but it will always be there in the back of your mind. All i can say is hang in there and go with the flow. What will be will be. Good luck.

You don't. You can't turn off your feelings. If it's not going to happen, accept that.

One trick I learned is to ask the girl to fix me up with one of her friends. suddenly, I into the friend and not worried about the first girl.
