my parents FORBID me to date and i can't understand why. my guy friends say i'm attractive and i've been asked out before, but i'm not allowed. why should i do??!!

sometimes parents know whats best for you. You should wait. Fighting your parents just to get a boyfriend would be ruining one relationship for another that is alwase changing and alwase hurtful. Love is so much better when you are REALLY ready for it. Your parents want whats best for you. I may be sixteen but I know that family alwase comes first. Trust your parents.

I went through the same thing as a young woman, and at your age I'm sure it seems unfair and mean of your parents. The truth is, they are protecting you, and it's fair.
I don't care how many of your girlfriends date at your age, you should listen to your parents and wait. I promise, the guys will still be drooling in a few years! Maybe even more so!
No sneaking around dating! You will get caught or pregnant!

How old are you first?
Parents are protective by nature and they don't want you to go through anything that might put you in a dangerous satuation or be fooled by someone.
If you know your b/f well, introduce him to your family and ask him to stay in for dinner. let your family get to know him better and then once they do, just tell them he invited you out with him along with other friends with their g/fs.
Show your family you can take good decisions. I don't think your family will forbid you from going out anymore, but still they will have restrictions, which is normal.

LIE...who cares??? just say hanging out wtih friends and go out and date its really easy to get out!!! ur only gonna live once so just go for it and if u really dont want to lie bring a friend on the date so its the truth u r hanging with friends but i think u really should date!! at least if u r 11 or older thats whn ii started

At your age it seems like the end of the world if you can't date like the rest of your friends, but you should listen to your parents and wait til you are older and wiser.

Talk t othem to find out why they think that way. Parents can be "talked into things" if you give them what they want. Like do chores, do homework, be a good little girl, etc.
