How does the library know who stole the books? It seems just as likely that the books were stolen by folks that wanted to read them and keep them for themselves. I am Christian and I also believe in freedom of the press. I do not support stealing or censoring controversial books. If you want to drink all day that is your choice.

I went to get some Crowley books from my local library as well. Same as your situation, the books were stolen by Christians. Unlike you, I did not go home and drink, I simply went home and smoked some marijuana and watched Memento. Good times... good times...

I hardly think that's a reason to start consuming alcohol, but it does show how discourteous and small-minded some people can be. The library should do a better job protecting against theft. Don't they have a security system? If not, you should empty your bottle of booze into the bathroom sink, then go out into your community and raise funds to buy a security system for your library.

Yeah, I know if I want any good books I have to go to a book store and buy them or order them online. The library's don't often carry any good books on alternative religions, and if they do, they get stolen.

No, I do not support that. I don't know who Aleister Crowley is, but sounds to me like he must be a false prophet. So, that's your excuse for drinking.
