a naturalization certificate has nothing to do with whether or not you have a job.

If you meant "proof of EMPLOYABILITY" the answer is YES. Since your Naturalization certificate states you are a citizen, and all citizens have the right to work, it will surfice as a valid proof.

You will also need to have a social security number. If you don't have one already, you must apply for one. If your old one says "Not valid for employment" then you have to have it re-issued so that it won't say it.
