I so agree with you on this one. My husband is very secure in our relationship of 13 years and if a guy had left a comment like that and see ya at my house next time would have been the straw that broke the camels back. If she does not put him in his pace over this one, she has no respect for you.

If your girlfriend left this comment to him, then I'd be upset... but you have no control over what her friend was/is going to say.
All you can do is tell your girlfriend that it makes you uncomfortable for him to say that and perhaps she'll let him know... or you can just send him a message and do the same.
I'd be more worried about the "next time its at my house" than calling her "babe"... after all, it gets thrown around a lot kinda of like "sweetie".
IMO anyway.

I completely agree with most other answers here. I would be upset about the "Next time it's at my house" part...sounds a little suspicious. But don't blow your lid, because not ALL guys are complete creeps who are trying to bag your gf...just most lol. Sorry, truth hurts.
But who knows...women often have alterior motives for what they do as well. Maybe she is trying to make you jealous for some twisted reason. Personally, I love that my bf doesn't get jealous, because he has no reason to be. I wouldn't hurt him and he knows that. It's nice to be able to talk to my guy friends and not have him freak out.
I'm not a trusting person just because I have been walked all over and cheated on so much, but give her a chance.

seriously and im not the jealous type... you are right he doesnt have the right.. but its not enough to freak out. the part that would make me see red is next time its at my house..if this happens then you might want to talk to her about it. shell say oh hes my friend from high school but seriously if she cant understand how you feel on the issue maybe you should start hangin out with some other ladies and leave her in the dust.

You are so wrong. Now a days babe is a very generic term that everyone and their grandmother uses. Be more concerned about the "at my house" part.

No, you not right. Eventhough he called her babe, that might just be how he talks... calles females babes. Kinda like guys who call there wifes or GF's "Old Lady"(I hate that). Anyway, just calm down and calmly talk to her about it if it really upsets you that much. Maybe you can even talk to him Calmly and ask him not to do that, but if hes like most guys hes gonna do it just to Peve you.

I think you're over-reacting. Some guys use it as a term of endearment, even for their female friends. I's be more upset by the "next time it's at my house" comment. What's THAT supposed to mean? LUNCH at his house? Why?

I think that you are over reacting a little. Some people use little nicknames for everyone. I have a friend who calls everyone hun. I'm sure they are just friends and if you feel differently you should talk to your gf about this before getting upset.

I wouldn't be so worried about the babe comment as much as him saying next time its at my house.
